Conference interpreter and translator

About me

When I was little, I would change idea about what to do as a grown-up about every year: I wished to become a vet, an astronomer, a writer, a chemist, a manga illustrator, etc.

The one and only consistency was my unrestrained passion for foreign countries, for anything that was different from me, for foreign languages and cultures, for traveling, for local food and habits.

From an interest in languages to becoming a translator

That is why I truly love my job, because on one side it allows me to meet many people and talk a bunch of different languages and on the other it requires constant updating on the topics I have to work on.

Thereby I can keep studying different and interesting things and at the same time use my linguistic and professional expertise to land my voice to those that otherwise could not deliver their message.

In my free time, I love cooking, reading, watching tv series and films, listening to podcasts, traveling and walking with my dog.

I therefore tried and cultivate my interests first studying langauges in high-school, and then choosing a university that would provide me also with marketable skills to be able to work with languages: after some time spent working for a renowned eyewear company, I decided to embrace the freelance profession devoting myself to being a full-time translator and interpreter.

And what’s your story?

Tell me about it here.
